Some of the things we get are not among our "favorite things," as Julie Andrews sings about in "The Sound of Music."
Some things uplift us; others upset us.
As we
proceed into this new year, let's set an intention to call upon the gift of hope whenever we get something that we would prefer to reject from our life experience.
May we keep our minds and hearts open and trust that every "thing" holds potential to help us heal, grow, and deepen in love, compassion, and wisdom.
