I know from experience, and I imagine that you do too, the soothing, uplifting, and encouraging power there is in the moment described by Cheryl Strayed... when another person truly understands our experience because she or he has "been there."

How deeply healing that is.

Today, let's look for opportunities to offer such caring to a fellow human being.

Even if the event differs, there are so many moments in every day when we can connect and help one another heal because we can share a sorrow, or a fear, or a hope, or a joy...

May this be a day for listening, caring, and sharing.
