TODAY'S TOUCHSTONE

"When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something's suffered damage and has a history, it becomes more beautiful."

                             ~ Barbara Bloom

We all have a history that includes hurts and heart breaks. Instead of denying such events, or judging them as bad, or considering ourselves as damaged because of them, may we find a way of applying "gold" to the cracks.

First, we accept all that we have experienced and endured with love and compassion for ourselves and all involved.

Next, we open ourselves to grace and wisdom to discover how we can apply radiance to the splintered places for transformations to great value.

With visions of beauty,
Charlene
