Some of you may know, from my Peace To All People On Earth Facebook page or from a recent postscript here, about "One Minute For Peace." 

Please consider joining in. Try it for the rest of September - this month of change, fresh starts, a World Day of Prayer, and a World Day of Peace.  

Yes, a day with memories of horror too. But instead of dwelling on past pains and present fears, we can each cultivate a culture of peace and be a source of hope and healing in so many ways. 

Here's one:

Set an alarm for 1:11 pm each day. When it rings, pause, center yourself, and focus on peace for one minute. Envision peace. Pray for peace. Be at peace. Meditate or send waves of love throughout the world. Be guided by the love, compassion, and wisdom in your own heart. 

One minute at 1:11. It is simple and easy. And yet powerful.
