"Children see magic because they look for it."
~ Christopher Moore
Today, let's let the wonder child who lives in us see a bit of "magic."
Do you have anyone to help show you how? I've got my four-year-old
grandchildren. Not only do they make believe they see unicorns, they really see the world around them sparkling with vibrancy, beauty, and an invitation to engage with it.
Whether or not we'd got such role models, let's aim to at least see the good today. Even if we don't catch a glimpse of the mystical and miraculous nature of life, we are likely to experience some peace, joy, and hope when we recognize the good.
First, let's avoid looking for what is bad and ugly and
disengage from discussions about what's "wrong." Consider fasting from the news today. And praise the beautiful goodness you do see.
With gratitude,
Charlene
