"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."
~ C. G. Jung
Let's focus on the positive and use the flip side of this today.
Watch for what you admire in someone. Who do you look up to?
Remember that whatever you see in someone is a reflection of that quality in you. You wouldn't be able to see the courage, grace, talent - you name it - in someone else if "it" didn't exist in you too.
Recognize your own good, embrace it, and give thanks. Maybe make a commitment to develop "it" more?
With joy,
Charlene
P.S. - Of course we can do this with the things that irritate about others too, as Jung said. When we do, let's bring compassion into the watching and learning process, compassion for ourselves and compassion for the "others."

COMPASSION: May you be gentle with yourself and others. May you forgive those who hurt you and yourself when you make mistakes. (from The Twelve Gifts of Birth)
