May it be our intention today to see people beyond their roles, outer appearances, and their relevance to us - to their essence, with reverence. 

A small but meaningful way to act upon this is to use people's names and make caring eye contact in all our interactions.

Consider making it a point to look at the badge of every clerk and service worker you encounter. Use his or her name. Ask about the day. Smile. Express good wishes. Do all this while intending to glimpse their inner loving essence. 

This can be fun, rewarding, and uplifting for all.
