"Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought
of any reward. Your life will never be the same."
~ Og Mandino
Og Mandino does not mean for us to focus on the negative. Considering the reality, or the possibility, that someone's death is immanent can shift us from taking life for granted to revering it.
My mom's death was anticipated. She was in Hospice care. My dad died suddenly, with no warning. Both losses show me the wisdom, the value, and the power of extending care, kindness, and
understanding to my still living loved ones and to all.
Please join me in living this way, at least for this day.
With love,
Charlene
