Happy Easter and Blessed Passover, dear friends.
As
we go forward in time and we leave the celebrations of holy days behind, let's keep the the spirit of them alive in how we live each day.
There is something for us to leave behind though. And that is worry. It's unhealthy and does no good.
Here's a little tool that can help. Consider using this Chinese proverb along with your imagination. And
prayer.
"That the birds of worry and fear fly above your head, this you cannot change. But that they build nests in your hair, this you can prevent."
~ Chinese proverb
Just as birds naturally soar through the sky, thoughts—including those of worry and fear—naturally flit through our minds. It's part of being human; we can't stop them from appearing. But we can prevent them from building nests, from settling in and taking over.
Let's dwell in faith, not fear.
With love,
Charlene
PS - While letting thoughts of worry fly away, perhaps feed the real birds that
visit you backyard now. Enjoy their beauty. Watch their antics. Listen to their calls and songs. This can help too. May peace be with you.
