Dear Friends,
We often think of love
mainly as a feeling and a sentiment. But love is also a decision, a choice, and a power. And its power really does grow each time we give it away and pass it on.
About our present challenges, I've heard many people say, "What can I, just one person, do?"
It's true: I am one; and you are one. But together, we are more than
two. And there are millions of us who value love, hope, kindness, and joy; who yearn for greater harmony and peace; and who strive to live the Golden Rule.
One thing we can do is stop the spread of negativity. How? First, we avoid taking it in and passing it on. Second, we choose to act with love. We foster hope, practice kindness, offer help, and encourage one another.
Love. Let's choose it, use it, and spread it now.
