Reverence is much more than bowed heads, bent knees, and hushed voices in places of worship. It's more than how we might feel and act in sacred places and during ceremonies. 

Reverence is like a rainbow; it holds all the colors of goodness. And you, dear friend, like a rainbow, hold every hue of goodness, too.

We all have the capacity to experience reverence when we wake up and greet the day and in the way we speak to the cashier. We experience reverence when we notice sunlight sparkling in a shimmering puddle and we feel a surge of gratitude and joy. Or even just a twinge.

Reverence knows: This moment matters. This person matters. This breath is holy.

Let's aim to experience the riches of reverence today. We can aim to renew the wonderment we knew as children too.
