"No one is perfect. Like precious stones, we have a few flaws, but why focus on that? Focus on what you like about yourself, and that will bring you happiness and peace."
~ Richard Simmons
Consider how simple polished stones can offer us life-guiding lessons.
First, they can remind us of the beauty that is present under rough exteriors.
Second, they can remind us of how our own inner strength and beauty are revealed when, like stones, we are "tumbled" and
"polished" by challenges.
Third, they can help us to appreciate and respect the differences among us.
Fourth, then can remind us that imperfections are okay. Like beautiful precious and polished stones, which have little nicks and scratches, we too are beautiful despite our imperfections.
Today, like polished stones, let's contribute beauty to the world.
With love and courage,
Charlene
