“I enjoy the beauty of the bubble, they’re fluid, and yet they have these geometric shapes so they do surprising things – two spheres become a single sphere – it’s what bubbles do.” — Tom Noddy
I love bubbles, the shimmering kind. Bubbles of joy, laughter, and love. Many good things can bubble up from our hearts and souls. Ideas and memories bubble up too.
“Miracles bubble up from their hidden source," said Deepak Chopra.
"Place a bubble of happiness around yourself and let nothing negative in," some say, and "Put your troubles in a bubble and blow them away."
There are many kinds of bubbles. Bubbles of Joy. Bubbles of Truth. Bubbles of Fame, Privilege, Hollywood, and The Sports World. The Popularity Bubble. Money Market Bubbles. Housing Market Bubbles....and more.
Some things are artificially inflated and will eventually burst... as all bubbles do.
But do not let anyone burst your dream and aspiration bubbles, or your bubbles of hope and joy. If/when they do
pop, just let another one rise or recreate one with your breath of spirit.
We can put ourselves in meditative, prayerful, concentration bubbles that protect our peace and focus.
We can also overdo that and isolate ourselves from others and the world.
Let's not burst any positive bubbles.
One simple take-away from this touchstone is to remember that words, images, and things have many different meanings and uses.
A
more valuable lesson is to realize that, to some extent, we are all in our own unique bubble, with our viewpoints, feelings, life experiences, hurts, and hopes.
Let's peer out, notice, and respect the billions of other bubbles we share our time on Earth with. We can connect with them
too.
May bubbles of love and reverence fill your day,
Charlene
