"Try your best to make goodness attractive.
That's one of the toughest assignments
you'll ever be given."
~ Fred Rogers
I’ve noticed – most likely you have too – how at certain ages, at certain times, in certain circles, it becomes cool to be cold and hip to be harsh. At times, character is turned upside-down and inside out. Goodness is mocked.
Goodness needs to be celebrated! Embraced, elevated, and celebrated.
Let's reach inside
ourselves and pull out all the strength and courage we need to stand firmly in goodness, especially when and where it is belittled.
Kindness. Courtesy. Compassion. Hope. Love. Joy. Reverence. Wisdom…These are some of the aspects of the goodness within us. The
are also our birthright gifts - resources that help us to live richly in authentic ways. How attractive they are. Beyond attractive. They are beautiful and powerful. Let's live them! Proudly, courageously, and confidently.
With love,
Charlene
