Dear Friends,

I've been out of touch lately, partly because I needed a rest and took some time away to find my way in how I write and what I say.

The reflection I offer today is in the form of a prayer:
 

May we be guided by love and light

to seek and speak truth

and raise our sights

to choose love over hate

and find wise ways

to renew hope

and restore unity,

to repair harms

and heal hurts,

to stand with courage

for freedom and justice,

and work together

to uphold the U.S. Constitution

and protect democracy,

to practice compassion,

encourage harmony,

and promote peace
everywhere.

Amen.
