Most of the reports in the news
and many of the stories that circulate among us contain fear. We all know this. We know it's unhealthy
and we lament it.
Instead of feeding fear, let's "build dikes of courage." Dikes of love and hope too.
Sharing good news, speaking of the good we see, and reflecting beauty are among things we can readily do.
We can act with reverence for all and be voices
of reason and courage for truth and dignity.
Like Martin Luther King, Jr., let's dream of peace, respect, and harmony among us.
Let’s build it too.
