"Try your best to make goodness attractive.
That's one of the toughest assignments
you'll ever be given."
-Fred Rogers
I’ve noticed – most likely you have too – how at times, at certain ages, in certain circles, it becomes cool to be cold and hip to be harsh. At such times, character is turned upside-down and inside out. Goodness is mocked.
Why
is this? Goodness needs to be appreciated, embraced, elevated, and celebrated.
Let's reach inside ourselves and pull out whatever we need to stand firmly and confidently in goodness, with joy.
Kindness. Courtesy. Compassion. Hope. Love. Joy. Reverence. Wisdom. How attractive they are. Beyond attractive. The "gifts" within us are truly beautiful. And they are all aspects of goodness.
Let's live them.
With courage, love, and joy,
Charlene
