"Smile, it is the keyÂ
that fits the lockÂ
of everybody's heart."Â
~ Anthony J. D'Angelo
Â
Smiling does open hearts, ours as well as others. I can almost hear someone saying, "What if I am not in the mood to smile? What if I'm feeling angry or depressed?"
I hear you. We do need to be real, and yet...
Â
The most valuable part of today's reflection comes next. It features what a subscriber wrote in the past about smiling when she's not in a smiling mood. I thank you again for this, Judith.Â
Â
"When I’m in a ‘sour’ mood, the best thing in the world that I can do is go somewhere among people — the grocery store works great for me — and smile…at the help, at other customers…The first smile may sometimes take a little effort on my part, but that
soon changes, as people smile back... Long story short, by the time I’m through with my visit, I’m feeling really wonderful, for real.  That ‘sour’ mood is a thing of the past."  Judith
Â
I plan on doing a lot of smiling this week!
Â
With smiles, love, and best wishes to all,
Charlene
