"The great gift of human beings
is that we have the power of empathy."
Meryl Streep
Let's feel for one another as we experience a day or a few in what seems (to me) like we are immersed in a sea of uncertainty filled
with every human feeling.
While aiming for peaceful trust, yet feeling edgy and feeling for all of us, I wanted to write something loving and caring.
I ended up with prayerful poem that's long and rough, so feel free to read it through or not at all.
Mainly, I want to say, let's do out best to be patient and kind to ourselves and each other. May we hold hope and faith and do
well living a normal day, without undue stress.
With love, reverence, and gratitude for the rich, complex, and wondrous experience of living,
Charlene
Wherever you are in the world, my friend,
there
we all are, sometimes afraid
but inside, so brave,
gifted with the courage needed
to be human,
to be here,
to become our true selves
authentic and sincere.
If today you face troubles,
to triumph through,
remember
you've got strength,
hope, love, and joy,
plus guiding grace,
and angels to help you, too.
Finally, a suggestion, dear friend,
at this day's end
before bedtime sleeping,
imagine seeing
your inner being
beautifully bright,
like the moon
lighting the night,
and the sight
of a million stars
sparkling white
on sea waves forming.
