“Joy is prayer;
joy is strength;
joy is love;
joy is a net of love
by which you can catch souls."
- Mother Teresa
Joy also nurtures health and well-being, feeds dreams, softens stress, helps sleep, reduces pain,
boosts our immune system, helps with problem-solving, and promotes heart health and longevity. It enriches relationships and attracts new friends too.
And, joy is always present and
available, even in the midst of sorrow.
Joy rests in gratitude. So when we appreciate something authentically, joy is right there, following the gratitude. It may bubble up, spring,
surge, or gently flow, but it is sure to show up.
Watch for this today. Notice when you feel even a hint of appreciation. It may be a scent in the air, a soft breeze, a color, the
sight of a bird, a call from a friend. Notice the uplift of joy that follows.
Given how pleasant and powerful joy is, let's wisely keep a strong gratitude
attitude.
With love,
Charlene
THE SIXTH GIFT IS JOY.
May it keep your heart open
and filled with
light.
