What if?
How have blessings come into your life?
Some blessings have come into my life riding on rainbows and wrapped in wonderment. And some have been carried on storm winds, in dark clouds, and by earthquake-like shakeups.
What if we welcome blessings however they come, as Laura Story asks in song? Instead of resisting anything that disturbs our comfort, what if we embrace all that brings us healing and growth? Deeper love, compassion and wisdom?
I know. It's not easy to look for blessings in car breakdowns, job losses, roof leaks, and illness. I'd rather spot them in sun rays and hear them in the laughter of children.
But blessings are there, somehow and somewhere in everything. Let's be open to receive them and be grateful for all that we get to experience on our journey through this life.
