"When I was a boy and I would see scary things
in the news, my mother would say to me,
'Look for the helpers.
You will always find people who
are helping.'”
~ Fred Rogers
Mr. Rogers' mother was right. In crises, in disasters, in good times and in bad, there are people who care and help however they can. There are many. May we be among them.
There's always a way to help. If our hands don't have the needed strength or dexterity for a particular job, if it appears there's not a task we can do, there's a way we can be - caring and positive
We can visualize good outcomes, pray, give thanks, and share good news.
We can hold faith, hope, and compassion.
Always,
Charlene
THE FOURTH GIFT IS COMPASSION.
May we be gentle with ourselves and others.
May we forgive those who hurt us and ourselves when we make mistakes.
