"Human greatnessÂ
does not lie in wealth or
power,Â
but in character and goodness.Â
People are just
people,Â
and all people have faultsÂ
and shortcomings,Â
but all of us are bornÂ
with a basic goodness."Â
~ Anne Frank
Â
Anne experienced horrors. Yet she maintained her belief in inherent goodness. She even glimpsed a ray, a spark
of it at times. Perhaps she could believe in goodness and perceive a light of it in the darkness because she valued goodness highly, and the goodness in her was vibrant.Â
We do all have faults and shortcoming. And some are deeply hurt and lose regard for goodness. Some reject it and go astray.Â
Â
I believe hurts can be healed, the lost can find their way, and, to keep goodness bright and vibrant, we need to refresh it often and nurture it daily.Â
Hey, let's feed goodness today! Â
Â
With love and hope,
