"Scared and sacred are spelled with the same letters ... Every negative experience holds the seed of transformation," says Alan Cohen.
I'm intrigued with this quote. There's something about the little shift of the letters "ca" to "ac" and "ac" to "ca" that's feels compelling.
Let's enter this day willing to shift, see differently, and perceive beauty and sacredness in unexpected places and situations.
Sometimes a shift from scared to sacred happens in a blink, like the first time I snorkeled. I felt afraid to roll backward off the boat, as was demonstrated, and scared to be
in unknown, dark water. Where any sharks around? But as soon as my mask allowed me a glimpse of the bountiful fish and beautiful coral beneath the surface, all fear fell away. The experience became sacred.
With faith, hope, and reverence, let's embrace life today.
With love and joy, too,
Charlene
