"A ship is safe in harbor,
but that's not what ships are for."
- William G.T. Shedd
When fear keeps us sticking close to shore, may we remember that, like ships, we are made for sailing.
Wishing you favorable winds and splendid sailing as you let your spirit soar.
True. And, yes. But.
Before I sign with love and faith, my heart is leading me to bring understanding, acceptance, compassion, and reverence to this reflection.
Sometimes we have to row a boat close to shore before we lose sight of it, just like we
crawl before we walk and walk before we run. Nurture your dreams with faith, hope, and love; imagine sailing and soaring, or singing on stage, or moving to Spain, or whatever holy yearning is in your heart; and go forward with faith at your own pace.
Believing in you,
Charlene
