“Holding on is believing
that there’s only a
past;
letting go is knowing
that there’s a future.”
~ Daphne Rose Kingma
The mourning dove is a symbol of hope, love, forgiveness, freedom, and peace. It is also recognized as bringing grace for new beginnings.
It is believed in some cultures that when we notice an animal in a way that feels special, we should pay attention to the qualities of that animal.
Whether
or not we see a mourning dove today,
let's make this a day of freeing ourselves from regrets and resentments and opening our hearts to peace, love, and hope.
Let's open our lives
to grace and new beginnings too.
With faith,
Charlene
