"I have always been delighted at the prospect
of a new day, a fresh try, one more
start,
with perhaps a bit of magic
waiting somewhere behind the morning."
-J.B. Priestley
There is a white arbor outside one of the doors of our screened lanai. Every morning the arched trellis is covered with a profusion of newly-opened, bright yellow blooms. Yesterday's spent blossoms blanket the ground.
Every morning this scene encourages me to open my mind and heart to the opportunities the new day holds and to let past experiences fall from my focus and fade into the past.
If this message and image resonate with you, let them remind you to welcome the gift of each new day and be fully present in it.
