How do you see the world? People?

When I see hateful and horrific things in the world, my heart hurts and I feel grave concern.

But am I pessimistic? No. Not yet. I hope I never will be. 

So far in my life, I have seen goodness, beauty, and strengths in people far more clearly and prominently than I have seen misguided ways. 

Abraham Maslow said:
"The fact is that people are good. Give people affection and security, and they will give affection and be secure in their feelings and their behavior." 

Let's give more acceptance, respect, affection, and kindness to each other. 

In doing so, I believe we will renew, deepen and expand our hope and achieve greater safety, health, happiness, and prosperity.
