"In my deepest, darkest moments,
what really got me through was a prayer.
Sometimes my prayer was 'Help me.'
Sometimes a prayer was 'Thank
you.'
What I've discovered is that
intimate connection and communication
with my creator will always get me through
because I know my support, my help,
is just a prayer away.
- Iyanla Vanzant
And sometimes my prayer is closing my eyes, feeling the breeze on my face, becoming still, and listening.
We can't see breeze, or even wind, but we can see the effects of moving air. And we can feel its touch upon us, like an intimate connection, a presence, reminding us of The Presence, always near.
Let's pause at times today. And in our own way, let's pray.
Wishing you hope and peace,
Charlene
