“Life is a journey that must be traveled."
- Oliver Goldsmith
Life's journey. It begins before we walk, even before we crawl. Our lessons start with our first crying out breath.
Our early years hold wonderment,
laughter, and joyful play as well as hurts, confusions, and tears. Perhaps you remember.
Let's feel for the child we once were and for all the world's children, of all ages. At all ages our journey takes us through places high and low
Sometime today, let's look around with the intention of seeing everyone with compassion.
Whether we see people at their present age or perceive the child within them, let's open our hearts with compassion and empathy for them, for all humankind. In every moment, many people are aching.
We all need love and understanding, acceptance and empathy, respect and kindness.
Truly,
Charlene
