Yes, when was the last
time?
And, how about both? When was the last time someone told you you could be awesome and humble? Or, courageous and
compassionate? How about strong and vulnerable?
Just yesterday, on signs within a Children's Little Theatre I saw messages like:
Don't forget to be awesome.
and
Always remember to be humble and kind.
Seeing them stirred my hope, gratitude, and joy. I knew immediately that I wanted to share these words with you.
Imagine if all we grown-ups said this and modeled this for our children and grandchildren, for everyone's children, for all children, and for children of all ages - children as old as going-on-75, as I am!
The truth is: Many of us are still learning this. Many of us are still learning so much.
And this is a good thing.
May we all remember to be awesome - because we are awesome! And may we remember that everyone else is awesome too!
And may we be humble and kind and the best of all the gifts within
us.
