I haven't yet seen, within your being or mine, the astonishing light that Hafiz refers to, but I'm certain I glimpsed it when, a few times, I felt something brilliant and beautiful in us, and in all humankind.

More compelling and convincing for me is the love in my heart and the faith in my bones, my cells, and my soul that tells me this is so. 

Today, let's aim to see the worthiness and dignity in all of us.
