Try to remember a moment when you felt the gift of being truly alive. It may have seemed as if everything was new...the sun, the earth, every blade of grass, and you. Maybe it seemed as if all of creation was inviting you to cherish it.  

I believe we all had moments like this as children. I can remember skipping with joy and feeling as if I was somehow flying with the birds I watched in the sky even though my feet were moving along on the ground.

Whether or not we can recall such a time now, let's open our minds and hearts to the beauty and goodness of life. 

Let's ask for this precious gift and prepare ourselves to receive it by letting go of worries, regrets, and resentments and welcoming a glimpse of the wonderment that exists all around us and within us, always.
