"I'd gone through my life believing
in the strength and competence of
others;
never my own.
Now, dazzled,
I discovered that my capacities were real.
It was like finding a fortune
in the lining of an old coat."
- Joan Mills
Can you imagine finding a misplaced lottery ticket that turned out to be a winner? Or remembering a bank account you had long ago and never
closed?
It's a possibility, considering that over $2 billion in lottery prizes go unclaimed every year, and there's an estimated $850 million lying unclaimed in lost and forgotten bank accounts.
We may not have untapped wealth in those forms, but we all are wealthier than we yet realize because we all have undiscovered and untapped wealth within us. And, it's worth more than any amount of money.
To some, this statement may sound fanciful, idealistic, and maybe even
corny.
But it's true that when we recognize our inner strengths, discover the fullness of our talents, cultivate our gifts, and use them in everything we do, we can achieve a rare and wondrous way of living.
We all deserve to become fully ourselves and to joyfully make a positive difference in the world.
It's time to let go of our limited and
limiting beliefs and see the truth about ourselves. It's time to realize that we are worthy and talented. Our dreams matter. We matter.
With faith and enthusiasm may we look within and find our true wealth and our worth.
And, may faith and enthusiasm uplift us
and carry us forward, toward being our best selves, day by day.
With faith and love,
Charlene
