“How could I doubt...?
Isn’t it a miracle that the sun rises
every day in the east and sets in the west?
Isn’t there mystery in all of nature’s wonders?"
- Rafael Abalos
Like Wayne Dyer and Rafael Abalos, I believe in miracles,
Today's photograph - taken by my cousin, Mary Margaret, on September 10 - is about a miracle she experienced that day.
Mary Margaret had recently been feeling down, especially as September 10 approached. Her dad had died 30 years earlier on that date. For three decades she missed him and longed for some kind of encouraging sign about him, about life, about death, and life after death.
Since his death, Mary Margaret had not ever experienced a nearness or a moment of close connection with him, as she had with her deceased mom, who seemed to send many little signs and messages to Mary Margaret.
Mary Margaret decided to ask for a something specific. What might it be?
When her father had exhaled his last breath in 1993, Mary Margaret was at his side. She remembers the moment, how she felt, and the time. It was 6 P.M.
Needing
some time and space alone, she stepped outside. When she did, her eyes were drawn upward to where a magnificent rainbow graced the sky and soothed her pain. She longed to see a rainbow like that one. So she asked for that.
Her prayer was answered and her request was granted.

blessing and sign she received on September 10,

Let's expect miracles. And trust that we are never alone.
