"Hope is being able to see
that there is light
despite all of the darkness.”
– Desmond Tutu
Hope.
It's been described like a feather, a magic carpet, and a confident feeling.
It is a gift. But to grasp it's power and promise, I like to think that hope is like a window that's built into us. When we open it, everything changes.
Opened, hope dispels darkness and brings us light, sight and insight. A freshness of air and possibilities too.
Hope. Let's keep it open.
Always,
Charlene
THE FIFTH GIFT IS HOPE.
Through each passage and season,
may you trust the goodness of life.
