"Be grateful for your difficulties and challenges,
for they hold blessings."
- Carl Jung
This little work of art began as pieces of broken plates and pottery in a dump in Haiti and was made by women struggling to survive.
This angel symbolizes the higher and deeper transformations that are
possible for us when, instead of discarding, rejecting or ignoring the brokenness in our lives and in us, we make peace with our broken pieces and create valuable fresh starts, healed relationships, and new directions for our lives.
May we be encouraged and inspired by the work done by the women in Haiti and by the Vance Havner quote below - about God using broken things.
God uses broken things: broken soil to produce a crop, broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread, broken bread to give strength and broken people to do great things.
Let's embrace everything in our lives and be grateful.
With faith, hope, and love,
Charlene
