"Forever is composed of nows."
-Emily Dickinson
I haven't been present in the now very often. And when I have, my slip into and out of the eternal moment was usually fleeting.
And yet, when I recall one such a time, I remember sensing a vastness of peace and a knowing that I hardly know anything, if anything at all, other than
this: There is so much more beyond our human experience, especially if we go about our days living on the surface, without noticing wonders, being thankful, and loving one another.
The profound time I'm recalling was breathing in sync with my mother, being by her side, both of us alive,
until she took her last breath.
Let's live this day remembering that our time here is precious.
And while we are here, no matter who we are and what material wealth we have or don't have, we can do something awesome and
powerful.
We can bring pieces of heaven's peace into this world and into the lives of loved ones and strangers every day.
With wisdom and loving kindness,
Charlene
