One way we can stay motivated is to keep the lotus flower in mind, especially when we feel like we're going through some kind of muck in our life.
Despite its muddy start and murky journey, the amazing lotus keeps stretching upward, reaching toward light and clarity. As it goes, it grows in strength. Reaching the surface, it blooms with beauty.
Whatever happens this week, remember: like the lotus, you are amazing.
If you find yourself facing something yucky, know that light and clarity are on the other side and you have the strength, talent, and courage to pass through it, growing in beauty and wisdom as you go. Love and compassion too.
