The world is full of magical things. Wondrous things.
While adult wit helps us to discover such things and exclaim AH-HA when we gain fresh insights, it's childhood wonder that helps us to routinely see magical things and still say WOW!
While I hope that our wits sharpen
as we continue to grow, I share Rachel Carson's yearning:
"If I had influence with the good fairy who is supposed to preside over the christening of all children, I should ask that her gift to each child in the
world be a sense of wonder so indestructible that it would last throughout life."
Throughout our lives, may we sharpen our wits, soften our hearts, and nurture our sense of wonder.
