The darkness in the photo may look a little ominous to you, as if a storm is approaching.
But when I took this photo, there was no storm. It had been a beautiful day in Cortona, Italy when I was there with my husband last year.
This was the sky after the sun had set and it was not fully dark. In fact, in addition to the lamplight that had just turned on, there's still a little sunlight behind the clouds.
Let's remember that the sun is always shining. There is always light. There is always hope.
Let's be a source of light in the world. Hope, too.
