"Courage is being scared to death
and saddling up anyway."
- John Wayne
Whenever I come upon this quote, I can almost hear it spoken with John Wayne's distinctive drawl and picture his
swagger.
His words remind me of a famous quote by a strong and well-known woman. And, as I type her words, I can almost hear her saying, "We gain strength, courage,
and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face...we must do that which we think we cannot do."
Yes, it's Eleanor Roosevelt.
May we all face our fears with all that we've got within
us.
Especially our courage,

May you speak and act with confidence
and use courage to follow your own path.
