“The thought that life could be better
is woven indelibly into our hearts and our brains."
- Paul Simon
Similarly, The Twelve Gifts are woven within us. Let's imagine them to be like luminous strands in the fabric of our being.
Right now, let's be especially aware of the gifts of courage and compassion and consciously bring strands of each into this day and weave them into the tapestry of our lives.
Threads of courage and compassion will add strength and beauty to the work of art we are creating to express the whole of our
lives.
Have no fear about your weaving not being good enough. Every one is a unique marvel with connecting threads to all other one-of-a-kind creations. And, we, and our weavings, each have a place in the One Tapestry of Creation.
So, without fear or pressure, let's live this
day choosing to be brave and kind.
Loving,
too.
Always,
Charlene
THE THIRD GIFT IS COURAGE.
May you speak and act with confidence
and use courage to follow your own path.
THE FOURTH GIFT IS COMPASSION.
May you be gentle with yourself and others.
May you forgive those who hurt you
and yourself when you make
mistakes.
- from The Twelve Gifts of Birth
