"One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say."
- Bryant H.

Almost everyone listens not to hear and understand but to react to what has been said.
Imagine how much richer, healthier, and happier all our relationships will be, how much more peaceful the world will be, when we listen to one another with
respect that deepens into reverence.
Starting today, let's intend to listen to hear and to understand. Let's aim to listen with respect and compassion. And, let's practice, practice, practice this.
May we be inspired and guided by the Rule of Saint Benedict who
said, "Listen with the ear of your heart."
With loving regard,
Charlene
