"Know that
you are blessed with courage
and that courage springs from love.
It’s courage that tells
you
what is right, what is just.
Courage allows you to stand up for
principles by using your voice,
not your fists.
Courage allows you to be brave
and strong and non-violent.
Use your courage.
Use all
your gifts
and they will grow stronger.
You will grow stronger.
May courage bless you always."
- Sherri Chessen
Courage is a blessing. May we use it to be true to ourselves and our highest values and may we be blessed by courage.
Today's blessing comes from Sherri Chessen.
Sherri is an author friend and lovely lady who is a true guide-mother and has been all her adult years. One of the many significant ways that I see Sherri as a guide-mother is in her role as one the TV Romper Room Teachers in the 1950s. If you remember the program for preschoolers, perhaps, like me, you'll recall the DO BEE and DON'T BEE guides to manners and the Romper Room teacher looking through her magic mirror at the end of the show and naming children
watching from home.
Sherri has always been a strong advocate for the health, safety, and well-being of children as well as for protecting their sense of wonder. Thank you, Sherri, for this blessing.
Thank you all for being receptive to The Twelve Gifts messages
and for sharing them with others.
May we each recognize our own gifts and
guide others to see theirs!
Always,
Charlene

THE THIRD GIFT IS COURAGE.
May you speak and act with
confidence
and use courage to follow your own path.
