“Water is fluid, soft & yielding but water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield...what is soft is strong.”
- Lao Tzu
Too often we fail to recognize strength in what is soft, gentle, and authentic. Too often we mistake toughness for strength and bravado for bravery.
It may take longer for water to wear down rock than for a rock to smash something in a moment, but water is
definitely the stronger of the two.
May we be strong in
steady sincerity, in passion for our dreams, in unconditional loving, in being able to say I don't know, I made a mistake, and I'm sorry, and in being real.
Today, let's be open to seeing strength in new ways.
With love,
Charlene
