“Can I see another's woe, and not be in sorrow too?
Can I see another's grief, and not seek for some relief?"
- William Blake
Today, may we notice our neighbor's hurts, respond to our loved one's troubles, and sense the struggles of strangers. Without judgment or pity, may we care,
sincerely and deeply.
Along with caring, may we help where we can.
And along with sharing sorrows, may we share our joys and hopes. In
sharing who we are, may we recognize that we are more alike in our needs and dreams than we differ in any way.
And may this lead us to realize and recognize our oneness on humanity's family tree.
Along with caring and helping one another in our worries and woes, our sorrows and griefs - may we seek to see the strength and beauty, the goodness
and the gifts in everyone we know, everyone we encounter, every person on humanity's one family tree.
We are strong, truly. We have courage. We are gifted and talented. May we come to love and respect one another, and be
kind.
Always,
Charlene
THE FOURTH GIFT IS COMPASSION.
May you be gentle with yourself and
others.
may you forgive those who hurt you
and yourself when you make mistakes.
