“Whoever would one day learn to fly must first learn to stand and walk and run and climb and dance;
one cannot fly into flying."
- Friedrich
Nietzsche
No matter how old we are, we're all learning and growing, continuing to develop on all levels. On one level we may already be flying. On another we are
dancing. On yet another we're still steadying our walking steps.
While we progress, all along the way let's be patient and supportive, encouraging and kind to ourselves and each
other.
We'll probably fly higher and soar sooner if we lighten our burdens by removing all comparisons and pressures, judgments and jealousies.
I'm changing metaphors now, but...like flowers and trees, may we each
grow and bloom beautifully, at our own pace, in our own time, with grace.
With love and compassion,
Charlene
THE FOURTH GIFT IS COMPASSION.
May you be gentle with yourself and others.
May you forgive those who hurt you
and
yourself when you make mistakes.
