"Use your imagination not to scare yourself to death but to inspire yourself to life." - Adele Brookman
So clear and true.
We can use imagination for endless movie making in our minds.
We can take our creative thinking along strengthening pathways to comfort, uplift, and empower ourselves. This can even help heal us and inspire us to be vibrantly alive.
We can also take our imaginings down weakening roads toward scenarios in which we scare ourselves to
death.
Why not always choose imaginings that bring blessings and benefits to ourselves and others?
The thing is: we use our imagination so much each day that we often don't realize that we're using it and how we're using it.
We can intend to notice more - and imagine noticing it more. And we will.
And if we find ourselves using imagination in weakening ways, with self-compassion and kindness we can ask our imaginations to follow only the ways that strengthen us. Little by little it
will.
Let's use this powerful gift wisely and lovingly.
For strength,
Charlene
