"The undertaking of a new action brings new strength."
- Richard L. Evans
If you are feeling a need for new strength, consider a new endeavor or change of scenery.
I hadn't realized how much I needed "new action" until I returned from the 3,400 miles RV trip I took with my family a few weeks ago.
Prior to it, I had said that I would be
sending fewer touchstones through the next few months. Since returning, however, I've been emailing and posting a bit more.
New activities brought me renewed strength while stirring my imagination, joy, hope, and courage.
In addition to today's quote from Richard L. Evans, I offer for your consideration a quote from Hafiz:
"Stay close to anything that makes you glad to be alive."
Hmm. Does this contradict our first quote? Actually, combining the two makes sense. As we venture
into something new, let's keep in mind the things that make us glad to be alive.
Let's keep love and joy in all our undertakings and actions - old and new.
Always,
Charlene
P.S. - Besides suggesting you consider new actions and acknowledging the increase in my touchstones, I want to confirm that at times my touchstones will not be daily. The next few months hold more travel adventures and new activities for me
and my husband. I hope they hold many promising things for you!
THE FIRST GIFT IS STRENGTH.
May you remember to call upon it
whenever you need it.
